Terms And Condition

General

The conditions listed substitute and prevail over any conditions that purchasers’ orders might purport to impose that would be in variance to these conditions.

 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the agreement and any claims or disputes arising out of, relating to or in connection with it, shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with the agreement to which the parties irrevocably submit.       

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the information listed in the company catalogue is accurate, the Company gives no guarantee to that effect and accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from incorrect descriptions mistakes, omissions or misprints in its catalogue or invoicing. It is recommended that the appropriate vehicle manufacturer instruction manual be consulted prior to the fitment of any part.

GTI has taken great care in identifying the parts contained within its catalogue, but due to manufacturers constant modifications within any one engine range and an increasing amount of imported engines being used, always ensure that the new part is identical to the one that you intend to replace. In all cases the person fitting the part must be satisfied that, prior to installation, they are suitable for the purpose intended.

GTI gasket sets have been produced to cover certain applications, but as car manufacturers are often modifying these applications certain items contained within the gasket set are subject to change. The essential items however should remain the same.

All manufacturer trade names and engine codes are owned in law by the manufacturer and cannot be used in conjunction with any commercial transaction of GTI products.

Terms of Payments

1. Credit accounts are due for payment by the 26th day of the month following the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing with the company.
2. All non credit account orders will be invoiced and paid for in advance of delivery.
3. Partial or split orders to credit account customers will be invoiced as despatched, and each consignment treated as a separate invoice and be payable accordingly.
4. The Company reserves the right to charge 5% over HSBC Bank plc base rate on overdue credit accounts.
5. The TITLE of the goods remain the property of Global Technologies International (UK) Limited until paid for in full.

Return of Goods

1. Goods returned for credit must be received within 30 days of invoice. Goods being returned after 30 days will not be credited.
2. All returned goods should be in a saleable condition i.e. the same condition as supplied. A charge for re-packing will be charged when ever necessary.
3. All parts returned for any reason other than the fault of GTI will be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge.
4. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the goods to GTI by post or courier. It is also necessary to have proof of deliver on any returned goods.
5. Special order goods, which are imported, are ordered /sold on a non-returnable basis.

Prices

The company reserves the right to change any prices quoted, written or verbal, without notice. Prices ruling at the time of invoicing and despatch will apply unless otherwise agreed by the Company.

Guarantee

The company undertakes to replace or credit or refund the value of goods supplied and subsequently agreed by the Company to be defective. The Company shall not in any circumstances be liable for any consequential losses or damage resulting from the fitting of defective parts. The warranty shall only extend to the total cost of the goods supplied on any one invoice. The warranty is not valid if the goods supplied are used in motor racing or competition of any kind.

Warranty

1. Subject as provided below, the Company warrants all Goods supplied by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period which is the lesser of
2. twelve months from delivery to the Customer or its agent or 12,000 miles use (verified to the satisfaction of the Company), but its sole liability under such warranty shall be limited to replacing or issuing credit as its option, for any Goods which have been returned within four weeks of discovery of any defects by the Customer, carriage paid, to the Company and for which the Customer has completed a Company warranty claim form and labelled the Good appropriately.
3. The Company shall in any case, incur no liability under this warranty
   1. For any Goods not returned in the time and manner set out above
   2. For any Goods in which the alleged defect is found upon examination to have been the cause in whole or in part by misuse, neglect, overload, unsuitable lubricant, improper installation or repair, alteration or accident
   3. For any Goods which are used in any form of motor competition or for performance improvement
   4. For any Transport, installation, removal, labour or other consequential costs
4. Save as herein expressly provided, the Company shall not be liable for any losses or damage direct or consequential, whether in contract tort or otherwise of what so ever nature or to whomsoever or however caused, arising out of or through the use of any of the Goods supplied by it.
